The swap: ditch the paper towels

A household can go through dozens of paper towel rolls a year, and every one of them ends up in the trash. The easiest swap? A Swedish dishcloth. One MIMRO Swedish Dishcloth is made from cellulose and cotton, is reusable for 100+ washes and replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towels. It soaks up spills, wipes counters clean and dries quickly between uses. When it finally wears out, it goes in your compost.

Pair it with a plant-based sponge, like the MIMRO Natural Loofah Cellulose Sponge, made from loofah, cellulose and cotton with no plastic or glue. Less waste. Less plastic. Everyday essentials.

Why it matters

Paper towels are one of the easiest single-use items to swap out. Every roll you skip saves the packaging, the shipping and the trash bag space it would have taken up. Keep one cloth by the sink, one for counters and one for spills, and rinse and air-dry them between uses.
